HOPKINSVILLE, Kent.—Lynda Barnes, wife of Columbia 300 Pro Staff member Chris Barnes, will join her husband in representing the Columbia 300 brand. A member of Team USA and the 2007 United States Amateur Champion, Barnes has accumulated a number of accolades and titles during her bowling career, just like her husband and fellow teammate. Combined, this dynamic duo will prove a force to be reckoned with worldwide.
“Lynda has proven to be a formidable opponent on the lanes, and we are pleased to welcome her to the Columbia 300 family,” said Chad Murphy, Columbia 300 brand manger. “Her skills and abilities, combined with those Chris possesses, will further define the new era that is Columbia 300.”
Barnes has been a member of Team USA a record 11 times since 1989. She won two silver medals in trios and team competitions as well as a bronze medal in doubles competition at the Women’s World Championships in Monterrey, Mexico, in 2007. Also in 2007, she placed 12th at the QubicaAMF World Cup in St. Petersburg, Russia; finished 22nd at the USBC Masters and tied for 3rd place at the Women’s U.S. Open.

Barnes and her husband, currently reside outside of Dallas, Texas, with their 5-year-old twin sons, Ryan and Troy.
