HESTER WINS BIG IN INDIANA WITH COLUMBIA 300

Southpaw bowler Chris Hester recently won big in the Indiana State Tournament with the Columbia 300 Full Swing.
The tournament took place in Evansville, Ind., at Franklin Lanes and Arc Lanes, between February 20 and May 23. Hester won in the All Events category, both scratch and handicap, with a series of 2,233 scratch for 9 games.
Hester also prevailed with his partner, Eric Leuthart of Otisco, Ind., placing first in the Scratch Doubles division. Hester threw a Columbia 300 Full Swing for all 9 games.
“I prefer my Full Swing because it rolls so smooth and doesn’t give you the skid or flip jerk you see out of many balls today,” said Hester. “This gave me a controllable and predictable breakpoint and reaction, and allowed me to play them pretty safe, yet still gave me the hitting power to strike!”
As a result of his winnings, Hester will receive a free entry to the USBC Masters Tournament next year. Though his cash prize is unknown as of right now, just winning this tournament is a great honor.
