NEW LEADER TAKES THE HELM AT COLUMBIA 300

Bowling ball manufacturer Columbia 300 is pleased to announce the addition of Bugsy Kelly to its marketing team as Brand Manager. Kelly has served a variety of roles in the bowling industry, most recently as Manager of Membership Rewards for USBC.
“Bugsy’s years of experience in various aspects of the bowling industry make him a great candidate for this position,” said Bob Reid, VP of Marketing. “He’s a competitive player who understands all elements of the sales chain, and his organization and industry contacts will be a great benefit.”
Kelly’s official start of employment was July 5th, but he was on-hand at Bowl Expo in Las Vegas the week before, to introduce himself and speak to pro shops and distributors present.
“I’m really looking forward to getting back into the consumer product part of the bowling industry,” said Kelly. “The Columbia 300 brand has such a great history in bowling, and it’s definitely on the upswing right now.
“From the time I was young, all I wanted to do was work in bowling. I’m extremely excited to work for Ebonite International, the top company in the industry. Columbia 300 is a great brand and I’ll be working with a great team. I get to boss Chris Barnes around… what more could I ask?”
Kelly’s connections within the industry will come in handy quickly, as he begins a tour of distributor tradeshows starting early in July and ending mid-August.
