Pulse

Overview

Columbia 300 is once again honoring its legacy with the return of a true fan favorite—the Pulse. Known for its smooth, reliable motion and benchmark performance, the original Pulse earned its reputation as a go-to ball for league bowlers and competitive players alike. Now, we’ve taken everything that made the original great and infused it with today’s technology to thrive on modern lane surfaces, oil patterns, and conditions. The updated Pulse offers the same predictable and controlled motion, but with a refined core and modern coverstock chemistry that allows it to handle today’s environments with ease. Whether you’re bowling on house shots or challenging patterns, the Pulse is that perfectly balanced symmetric that tells you exactly what the lane is giving you—a true benchmark you can trust, then and now.

Bringing it Back

As the tag line says, if you don't have one you are dead.
Perfect, for lack of better word, benchmark solid.
I would say this ball rolls well off the hand, not much skid flip and rolls hard off the spot. I was a little surprised how much it came off the breakpoint for being symmetrical but very impressed.
Not the biggest ball in my bag but I am able to throw in the puddle and have reaction. I was also able to move in and have the ball blend out the transition.

It did get to the point it just grabbed too early and I had to ball down but this ball fits very well in the middle or upper end of my lineup. If there is oil I am starting this on the fresh.

A must have for a rolling symmetrical solid. Love it!

Pleasently Surprised

Drilled this ball looking for a different symmetrical solid option and have found just that. For me this ball has come into play when the lanes begin to transition but they haven't transitioned enough to use a pearl option. Was very surprised how well this ball stores energy down lane creating awesome pin action!!

Get ready to check your PULSE!!

Drilled 50 x 4 3/4 X 35 and pulse seems to be very versatile with surface and without. With surface was too much for our centers, so I took mine to 4K and let lane shine and I get more use from it at that surface, We haven't had a solid symmetrical with this shape in a long time, cant compare it to anything else.
Very continuous solid from Columbia will be a hit
