SAVAGE

Overview

The Savage is made up of Columbia 300's Exciter Solid coverstock and Savage core. Designed to give you incredible mid-lane traction and mind-blowing back end continuation, this Savage combination is too good for even the heaviest of oil.

HyperSHOCK Technology (patent-pending) helps power the ball through the pins by controlling the influence they have on the ball’s path through the deck. Columbia 300 balls with HyperSHOCK not only get you to the pocket but drive through like no other on the planet.

Columbia 300 recommends Powerhouse Clean N' Dull to keep the Savage performing at its best.

Keep it clean

I have a new found love for this ball. I always wipe the oil after each shot and most of the time cleaned it after the night but the ball started to not hook much and drive after a year. I bought a new stronger ball thinking I needed one. I was wrong. What I needed was to pull the oil out of my savage. I did that with hot water. Then I hit it with a aberlon pad with my cleaner. Bingo. I got the ball back that I remembered having. Again I have a new found love for the Savage. Without a doubt my favorite ball to date. I switched to two handed this year so I’m having fun destroying pins. Thanks Columbia.

Savage Lives

Savage: Wow, Columbia has hit a HomeRun with the new Savage. Just drilled it 65x5x35 this morning to practice with it at Paradise Lanes for our PBA50 Regional tomorrow. On a whim i thought i would take it to our Friday Night Moonlighters league at JBLM. This ball flat out carries the corners. Started out standing 25 crossing arrows at 13-12 and just gradually chased it a little left and was standing 30 crossing 15 out to10-9 and BAM!
All you NW ProShop Operators need to get this ball in your shop-and not just one get 5!!!

Hook Hook and more Hook

This ball is a monster of a ball! The cover out of the box creates a smooth and predictable ball motion throughout the shot. The savage cuts thru heavy oil like its not there and hooks a lot! If you need a ball for heavy oil this is the ball for you!

Go-to Solid Asym

I use this ball pretty much every time I'm at the lanes, always consistent on its roll. Tears through heavy or inconsistent oil every time and is without a doubt a very strong ball. Feels and moves really well at higher rev rates and still holds up decently at lower rev rates. Even ends up being a good choice on the lanes when there is a lot of carry down and other balls aren't grabbing in time. If you want to go next level, resurfacing to 1000 grit just adds to the fun.

Really Strong

This ball is wonderful if you bowl on heavy volumes, it recovers with ease and provides a strong snap off the back-end.
