Messenger PowerCOR Pearl

The messenger power core comes out of the gate straight as an arrow through the first, and most of the second third of the lane. Around the late second third to early third of the lane, the ball makes a sharp, but smooth transition. If you’re a bit off on your throw, don’t worry too much because as an ok at bowler at best, the ball seemed to naturally want to work its way to the pocket. Seriously, over the span of one week I had played a total of 40 games. With my old ball (Storm’s Tropical Surge) in 20 games I had averaged hitting the pocket, (not necessarily a strike) 6.7 frames per game. With Columbia 300s’ Messenger, I had averaged hitting the pocket 7.8 frames per game. Much much better. Definitely recommend to those who are looking for consistent results, and of course, to send a message.

The Messenger is a great bang for buck. drilled 55 x 5 x 30 and I'm able to use this piece on light & Medium conditions. The HK22 additive adds great backend reaction. I believe all styles can use this piece on multiple conditions.
