I drilled the Super Cuda PowerCOR 4.25” x 30 to mimic the same layout I put on the original Cuda PowerCOR, as I wanted to see the exact differences between these two balls, taking the layout out of the equation. The Super Cuda PowerCOR does not disappoint. The Formula 1 hybrid cover really has some “teeth”, so it allows me to play around with less friction and still create the ball motion needed to sustain excellent pin carry. I have the Super Cuda PowerCOR about 1-2 feet later than the original solid, and about 1-2 boards more overall hook. The thing that impresses me the most about the Super Cuda PowerCOR is that it is not a sensitive ball at all. It helps blend the oil pattern for me, being forgiving on shots that hit friction, and holding line well on shots in heavier volumes of oil. A great benchmark hybrid symmetric, this is one everyone should have in their bag. I have used it on both sport and house shots, and the Super Cuda PowerCOR takes to surface changes very well for whatever you encounter on the lanes. The ball is perfect a bit more reactive than the piranha which is also a great ball. I love the energy build up even at low revs. Improved almost 10 pins after the first 20 games. I big winner I only have Columbia 300 balls in my bag.
The Formula 1 Hybrid cover allows this ball to have a little more shape than the original. The original Cuda gave me a more rounded shape and the Super is a little more angular, but with great control. Ball also takes surface adjustments well. Drilled 50 X 4 3/4 X 30
