I bought mine on initial release,1991 I think. Been so long ago. That was the best(favorite)ball I had. It's still at parents somewhere, lol. But seriously From that to orange piranha, beast,burgundy Hammer to now with all the new high performance balls. From 05/24- present I've purchased alot of bowling balls from scorpion low flare,ivory rhino,vaporize, Mesmerize, oversea's Black widow toxing(green) Black widow mania and more. But the original Power torq will always have a place that any of those can't touch. With doin the new piranha, I'm hoping they realize what went wrong with the 2021 torq and remake the oldie but goodie with very slight tweak to core and add HK22-C. Bring back in same matte green would be great. I also still carry and use original blue pearl Vaporzone (2005) still 1st ball out of bag,I use to test the lanes.
This ball was gifted to me used almost 15 years ago and served me well. Always could put it where I wanted more than any other ball and scored my best games with it (247, 246). Has a longer hook zone but always comes back and hits the pocket. It's probably 20 years old and not showing any signs of giving up.
